CUT HOUSE Academy is a space created by Alicja and Kacper—creators of a barbershop and the community that has grown around it. The academy was created as an extension of their educational activities—from introduction to the basics to the development of advanced hairdressing techniques. The academy's main goal is to teach through practice, eliminating unnecessary terminology and focusing on current trends and providing real support at every stage of professional development.

A holistic approach to development in the barbering industry.

CUT HOUSE team approached us during the Academy's development phase. Creating a coherent communication system that would be accessible to both those with little hairdressing experience and those with more experience was crucial. The materials needed to be clear, functional, and visually connected to the Academy's space. Striking a balance between current trends—both in hairdressing and design—was also crucial. Equally important was the need to create a logo that would serve both businesses for years to come, seamlessly tying them together.

Our task was to design a coherent visual direction. This included creating a new visual identity that would respond to the existing street art style and align with the new, more Bauhaus-inspired form. We translated the character of the interior and the tone of the brand's communication into a visual identity system—from the typography to the content layouts, which remain expressive and understandable for a variety of audiences. When developing the color scheme, we selected a shade of blue, incorporating the RAL system to reflect it on the walls, furniture, and printed materials.
